Tony Goodrow

Tony was the founding Chair of the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington. He has been recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Culture; received the June Callwood award for volunteerism; and is one of only two recipients of the designation of Patron of Burlington.

Currently Tony is a member of the Rotary Club of Burlington North, on the steering committee for the Halton Center for Social Innovation, and sits on the City of Burlington’s Civic Recognition Committee. He is the publisher of www.OurSharedResources.org, a resource sharing website for managers of volunteers.

In 2000, Tony began to combine his experiences as a volunteer in a variety of organizations with his knowledge of the internet and data management. The result of this effort is Volunteer IMPACT software that helps in the management of volunteers in terms of communications, scheduling and reporting.

Tony has presented on a variety of topics at conferences on volunteerism, in Canada, the United States, Guatemala, Colombia, Brazil and Australia.
